Operation Maa

Kashmir has seen many generations lost to terrorism, aided by Pakistan-fueled radicalization which started in the early 1990s. Families shattered beyond repair, the psychological trauma too grave to fully comprehend. In 2019, the Indian Army launched ‘Operation Maa’, a unique initiative turning mothers into a potent weapon to reclaim radicalized youth and defeat terrorism.
